Multi-class

In the games that came before RF Online, a character could only use the weapons and equipment meant for their class, and the same went for skills. RF Online breaks that habit: one character can combine two classes into an all-round class, the multi-class. That can be very useful in battle, especially with large numbers of players involved, because it lets you combine widely different tactics. This one aspect makes the game far more interesting.
