The guild system

What is a guild in RF Online?

A guild is a community of players who have joined together to reach a shared goal. Those goals vary widely, from doing quests and hunting monsters together to forming alliances and military pacts aimed at dominating the server. Taking part in guild life builds friendships not only in the game but outside it, and is a way to meet new people worth talking to.

Forming a guild takes 8 players. A player can join a guild once they reach level 30 and are not in another guild. You also have to pay the set fee of 24,000,000 in race currency and file the application with the Clerk NPC in headquarters.

What the guild founders can do

1. Accept new players.

2. Review players who have applied to join.

3. Administrative work, such as admitting new members.

4. Put questions to a vote.

How a guild is structured

Founders. The players who took part in creating the guild are its founders, and can only be removed from it by a vote.

The guild council. The council is made up of the players with the greatest standing in the guild; whoever holds the most status points joins it automatically. The council can hold up to 10% of the guild's members, so no more than 5 players.

Members. Everyone else in the guild.

The guild leader

The guild leader can speak to the Patriarch of their race, to the Patriarch's assistants the Archons, and to the leaders of other guilds, through the representative chat channel.

Guild rank

Guilds compete within a single race, and a guild's rank is set by several factors:

1. Guild points rising or falling as a member gains or loses status points.

2. New players joining the guild.

3. Players leaving or being removed from the guild.

The size of the guild council changes with the total number of players in the guild, but at least one player always remains on it.

What each rank allows

Rank 1. Accept new members; use guild chat.

Rank 2. Declare war on other guilds of the same race; buy a guild badge.

Rank 3. Conquer territory.

Rank 4. Award badges to players.

Rank 5. Take part in the fights for the platforms.

Rank 6. Place the guild badge on the map of a territory you have taken.

Careful. To see the list of every guild and its rank, walk up to the Clerk NPC and choose the guild ranks tab.

Running a guild

1. A player cannot apply to two or more guilds at once, and cannot belong to two or more guilds at once.

2. You cannot join a guild while all of the members who make its decisions are offline.

3. A guild can hold at most 50 players.

4. The founders and the guild council decide who is admitted.

5. The guild's total points are counted daily at midnight, Moscow time.

6. If every member and every founder leaves, the guild ceases to exist.

7. When a guild is dissolved, all of its information and privileges are deleted.
