What special properties do weapons and armour have?

Weapons come in several kinds and may carry special attributes. A weapon without attributes has a white name; coloured names mean added properties, and such weapons are better than white ones.

What kinds of armour are there?

Four: melee (the highest defence), ranged (adds accuracy and SP), spiritualist (the lowest physical defence of all but resistances to Force and more power), and launcher armour for Accretians (faster firing).

What kinds of weapons are there?

Many. Melee: daggers, swords, maces, axes, two-handed swords, two-handed maces, two-handed axes, spears. Ranged: bows, crossbows, firearms, two-handed firearms, throwing knives. Also staffs (Bellato and Cora only) and launchers (Accretia only).

Why can't I use some items?

When an item cannot be used, the chat window says why. Read the item's properties.

Monsters drop items with white names, sometimes yellow, and I got a shield with a purple name. What does it mean?

White name: ordinary weapon or armour. Yellow name (int): reinforced. Purple name: a weapon with a special property. Orange name (strong int): reinforced with special properties.

How do I upgrade my weapon?

The weapon needs free slots. Talics go into them; you get talics by mining ore and refining it at the Ore Refiner. You also need an Upgrader to set the talics into the weapon.

Where do I get talics?

Mine ore and refine it at the Ore Refiner. There is a chance of talics or auxiliary crystals in the result.

Is there crafting?

Yes. Only Specialists can craft.
