The Accretian Empire

The Accretian Military Empire is a civilisation of absolute totalitarianism. Every Accretian soldier is certain that nothing stands above the ideas and the interests of the Empire; the existence of other civilisations, and abstractions such as humanism or tolerance, are simply ignored. The reason most likely lies in what the Accretians are: a race of neuromechanical beings. The Accretian Empire is perhaps the most ruthless and the most practical force in the universe. In its drive towards rational knowledge it has achieved a great deal in the matter of the forgotten past, and of all the races drawn into this conflict it may be the one that best knows how the war began.
